Veterans' Affairs (part of the Defence Portfolio)
The Open Arms National Advisory Committee provides quality, independent, consultation based advice to the Minister on the effectiveness of the Open Arms Veterans and Family Counselling. The Open Arms provides counselling and group programs to Australian veterans, peacekeepers, submariners, reservists and their families. It is a specialised, free and confidential Australia-wide service.
