Climate Change Authority (Board)

On 13 May 2014, the Government announced in the Ministerial Paper Small Government - Smaller and More Rational Government that the Climate Change Authority will be ceased.
The Climate Change Authority is an independent statutory agency that provides advice to the Government on climate change policy. The Authority undertakes periodic reviews of the Carbon Farming Initiative and the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting System legislation.
