Commissioners Industry Collaboration Forum

The Commissioner's Industry Collaboration Forum (CICF) is a strategic, issue-based forum that brings together government and industry representatives to address specific border-related challenges and opportunities. The CICF provides a mechanism for the Australian Border Force (ABF) to seek expert, timely and confidential advice on complex issues affecting the border. Through targeted engagement with industry and government stakeholders, the Forum supports the development of practical solutions and informed decision-making on priority matters. A key focus of the CICF is to address challenge statements and matters escalated through existing ABF-led industry forums, including the National Committee on Trade Facilitation, National Passenger Facilitation Committee and National Sea Passenger Facilitation Committee. The CICF is not a standing committee and convenes only as required to consider specific issues. Membership is time-limited and tailored to the expertise required to address the relevant challenge statement.
