The Legal Division is responsible for the provision of all legal services and advice required by the department to deliver both its external functions as well as its enabling functions. We also coordinate and manage all litigation, Freedom of Information requests and applications under the Scheme for Compensation for Detriment caused by Defective Administration (CDDA Scheme).
