The Freshwater Vertebrate and Invertebrate Working Group (FVIWG) is a subcommittee of the Environment and Invasives Committee (EIC). FVIWG coordinate and lead the development of national arrangements to identify, minimise, and address the freshwater vertebrate and invertebrate pest risk to Australia’s freshwater social, economic, and environmental values. FVIWG membership is comprised of representatives from the Australian Government and state and territory governments, and technical experts and advisors by invitation.
