Superannuation Complaints Tribunal Advisory Committee

On 18 December 2017, the Government announced through the Mid-Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook through the measure titled 'Taking Action Now - Australian Financial Complaints Authority' - the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal will cease by 30 June 2020.
The Superannuation Complaints Tribunal (SCT) has established the SCT Advisory Council to strengthen the SCT's governance. It brings together eight industry representatives from across the superannuation industry to provide strategic advice and stakeholder feedback to the SCT chairperson, with regards to accessibility, independence, fairness, accountability, efficiency and the tribunal's effectiveness.
