Economy, Industry and G20 Sherpa Group provides advice on a range of economic issues, including development in, and the outlook for, the Australian and international economies, microeconomic reform, workforce participation, taxation, the financial sector, regulatory reform, budget matters and Australia’s engagement in the G20. The Group also advises the Prime Minister and Cabinet on key issues relating to infrastructure, communications, agriculture, arts, environment, energy and climate change. The Group is also responsible for administering requirements around Australia’s Regulatory Impact Analysis framework.
