Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications
The Infrastructure and Transport Ministers' Meetings (ITMM) (formally Transport Infrastructure Council (TIC)) provide a forum for intergovernmental collaboration, decision-making and progressing priorities of national importance. The meetings facilitate work with the Commonwealth, state, territory and local governments to drive national reforms that improve the safety and productivity of Australia's transport and infrastructure systems. The current approved 2021 strategic priorities for ITMM are: • Road Safety • Improving Heavy Vehicle Productivity • More Efficient and Resilient Freight and supply Chains • Transport Technology • National Rail Action Plan (NRAP) The strategic priorities and progress are reviewed annually, with the next review December 2021.
