National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator (NOPTA) has responsibilities to:
- provide information, assessments, analysis, reports, advice and recommendations to members of the Joint Authorities and the responsible Commonwealth Minister;
- manage titles administration as well as the collection, management and release of data;
- ensure effective resource management; and
- maintain the registers of petroleum and greenhouse gas storage titles.
