Australian Maritime Defence Council
The Council meets twice a year to provide a forum in which senior Defence and industry stakeholders can exchange information on trends and matters of national maritime interest. There are 18 members, of which the Deputy Chief of the Navy is the Chair. The AMDC was formerly known as the Australian Shipping and Defence Council.
