Inter-Governmental Committee on the Australian Crime Commission (IGC-ACC) monitors the work of the Australian Crime Commission (ACC), oversees its strategic direction and receives reports from the ACC for transmission to the governments represented on the Committee. The Committee monitors the authorisation of the use of coercive powers. This includes the power to revoke determinations of the ACC authorising the use of such powers. Members include Minister for Justice and the relevant Minister from each State/Territory (usually Police Ministers).
