The Australian Anti-Slavery Commissioner (the Commissioner) is a statutory appointment established under the Modern Slavery Amendment (Australian Anti-Slavery Commissioner) Act 2024. The Commissioner works with the Government, business, and civil society to support compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth), improve transparency in supply chains and help fight modern slavery in Australia and abroad.
