Administrative Review Council
On 11 May 2015, as part of the 2015-16 Budget, the Government announced that the Administrative Review Council would be ceased and its functions consolidated within the Attorney-General's Department.
The Administrative Review Council (ARC)'s role is to inquire into and advise on the federal administrative law system, administrative decision making practices and tribunal practice and procedure. It also promotes knowledge about the administrative law system and facilitates training of decision makers.
