Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG) delivers valued scientific advice and technology solutions to the Government, Defence and Australia's national security agencies to support the conduct of Defence operations, the provision of Defence capabilities and the promotion of security and stability. DSTG is also responsible for whole-of-government coordination of science and technology support to national security.
DSTG is part of the Department of Defence and is not created under a separate statute.
