Pay for Performance Advisory Committee
Veterans' Affairs (part of the Defence Portfolio)
On 1 July 2016, the pay-for-performance program was discontinued at the commencement of DVA's new private hospital contracts. The Pay for Performance Advisory Committee will be discontinued once payments have been finalised.
The Pay for Performance Advisory Committee provides expertise to guide the implementation, ongoing development, review and evaluation of both Commissions' pay for performance framework for private hospitals with a strong clinical focus on the performance measures. The framework provides a financial incentive to private hospitals to improve care for our veterans, in particular those with chronic conditions. Representatives ensure that policy, technical and health industry perspectives are considered throughout the various stages of pay for performance.
