Processing & DHOAS, Deputy Commissioner QLD

The Processing and DHOAS Branch is part of the Client Benefits Divison and delivers compensation and home loan subsidy assistance services to veterans and their families. The Processing section manages and determines Incapacity payments and Permanent Impairment compensation and the Defence Home Ownership Assistance Scheme (DHOAS) administers loan subsidies to assist veterans (servicing and ex-serving) and their families to achieve home ownership. DHOAS is administered by the Department of Veterans' Affairs on behalf of the Department of Defence. As the senior Departmental officer in location, the Deputy Commissioner QLD is also responsible for supporting all Departmental corporate operations, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement across Queensland.
