CCAAC is an expert advisory panel, which provides advice to the Minister for Small Business on consumer policy issues. CCAAC considers reports and papers referred to CCAAC by the Minister and report to the Minister on their likely consumer impacts; identify emerging issues impacting on consumers and draw those to the attention of the Minister; and investigates and reports to the Minister on consumer issues referred to CCAAC by the Minister.
