The role of the National Drought and North Queensland Flood Response and Recovery Agency (NDNQFRRA) is to: coordinate implementation of Commonwealth drought response measures; provide whole-of-government strategic policy advice on drought response, recovery and preparation activities; and to coordinate the Australian Government’s assistance and support for the North Queensland livestock industry and affected communities, following the significant flood event in the region in late January and February 2019.
