Sub-group established under the COAG Energy Council with membership from the Commonwealth, States and Territories and New Zealand, to deliver technical and strategic advice relating to the Equipment Energy Efficiency work program and the Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme work program. The Prime Minister announced on 29 May that COAG would be replaced by the National Federation Reform Council. Arrangements for the functions that are delivered by Commonwealth, state and territory Energy Ministers are to be finalised by National Cabinet in the coming months.
