Kimba Consultative Committee

Industry, Science and Resources
The Government, through the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources, is currently undertaking a process to establish a National Radioactive Waste Management Facility to dispose of Australia's low level radioactive waste and temporarily store its intermediate level waste. The Kimba Consultative Committee has been established to ensure constructive dialogue and information exchange between the Government and the Kimba community on issues relating to the process of siting the facility.
