Advisory Committee on Medicines Scheduling

The Advisory Committee on Medicines Scheduling (ACMS) replaces the National Drugs and Poisons Schedule Committee. It was established under the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (the Act) to advise and make recommendations to the Secretary of the Department of Health (or delegate) on the level of access required for medicines and chemicals.
