Agreement between the Netherlands and Australia Concerning Old Dutch Shipwrecks found near the coastline of Western Australia, contained in the Historic Shipwrecks Act 1976, Schedule 1. The Committee determines the ownership and subsequent disposition of the artefacts recovered from Dutch shipwrecks off the coast of Western Australia. 2 members are each appointed by the Australian and the Netherlands Governments. The Committee is effectively dormant and would only re-convene in the event that another Dutch Shipwreck is discovered in Australian waters.
