Strengthening University Governance - Officials Working Group

The Strengthening University Governance - Officials Working Group is part of the Government’s response to the Universities Accord Interim Report. The Working Group's membership is made up of nominees by each state and territory jurisdiction because they hold a particular existing office in the relevant state or territory government as a public official. The Working Group will consult with advocacy groups and develop an action plan on the immediate steps needed to improve the safety of students and staff. The Commonwealth Government Minister for Education appointed an Expert to support the Working Group, in recognition of their individual knowledge, expertise and networks within the field of sexual assault and sexual harm prevention.
