Functions Delivery Branch consists of 2 functions:
Engineering & Technical
Materiel Logistics
Engineering & Technical
The Engineering and Technical (E&T) Function provides the engineering and technical services required to support the delivery of capability. The Function is made up of the engineering and technical people in CASG, most of whom work within the projects and SPOs.
E&T Function members are involved in the development and control of the requirements, design, construction, configuration, performance, verification, validation, maintenance and modification of a product; including activities such as the conduct of technical investigations, reviews, and assessment of designs, materiel, incidents and organisations.
Materiel Logistics
Materiel Logistic Function (MLF) logisticians support the generation and sustainment of operational preparedness. Logistics contributes to the delivery of force effects through the key functions of force generation and in-service support, including preparedness management, support to operations and disposals. In achieving this, support is effectively provided within the Capability Support dimension; although the consequences of ineffective integrated support will manifest itself in ineffective support to operations and ultimately ineffective operations.
