Aerospace Systems Division manages the acquisition and through life support of aerospace systems for the Australian Defence Force. The division is responsive, as appropriate, to the Service Chiefs and Vice Chief of the Defence Force for delivery of acquisition outcomes. Branches in this Division include: Aerospace Combat Systems (ACS)Branch; Aerospace Materiel Management (AMM) Branch; Airlift and Tanker Systems (ATDS) Branch; and Aerospace Maritime, Training, and Surveillance (MT&S) Branch. It provides through-life support to a range of fixed wing aircraft types including: F/A18 Classic and Super Hornet Airborne Early Warning and Control AP-3C Orion C-17A Globemaster III KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport C-130 Hercules PC9 ASD also provides through-life support to a number of advanced flight simulators and ground support equipment fleets.
