The Environment Protection Reform Branch work across the department to provide advice on major reforms to the EPBC Act to drive strong environment and heritage outcomes and economic growth. The branch lead the delivery of an integrated and well-communicated reform agenda, currently including regional planning,National Environmental Standards, reform of statutory committees, environmental offsets, and the establishment of an Environment Assurance Commissioner. The Environment Protection Reform Branch support the development and passage of legislation through Parliament to implement major reforms.
