The Biosecurity Operations Division is responsible for delivering nationally integrated biosecurity and export regulatory activities. Our focus is on effectively managing biosecurity, imported food and export risks underpinned by sound science, and partnering with industry to professionally and actively pursue opportunities to improve delivery of our regulatory functions. The division’s operations include policy and regulatory control setting and spans a range of regulatory and capability support activities, including assessment, inspection, post-entry quarantine, border control, client contact, surveillance and response, scientific expertise, and community engagement.
