Water Market Reform Advisory Group

Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry
The Minister for Resources and Water has engaged an Independent Principal Adviser supported by an advisory group to work with the Australian Government, Basin states, industry, communities and other stakeholders to develop a phased, practical and cost-effective plan for water market reform. This plan is to have regard to the findings and recommendations from the ACCC’s 2021 Inquiry Report on Murray-Darling Basin water markets.
