The Strategic Indigenous Policy Division provides department-wide leadership through creating a cohesive approach to working with First Nations People. The division strengthens the departments partnerships and collaboration with First Nations people to deliver on our shared purpose, generate value, and shared benefits. Our cohesive approach is underpinned by structural and cultural change to embed Indigenous knowledges, perspectives, and unrealised potential in everything the department delivers.
