The Centre for Australian National Biodiversity Research is a collaborative venture between CSIRO Plant Division, the Director of National Parks and the Australian National Botanic Gardens.
Its activities are focussed on the Australian National Herbarium and associated plant taxonomic research and botanical information management. It maintains active engagement in national and international coordination and collaboration in botanical specimen management, botanical research and botanical information management.
The Centre provides the scientific foundation for identification of the living specimens of the Australian National Botanic Gardens.
