The Clean Energy Regulator is the Government body responsible for administering legislation to accelerate carbon abatement for Australia and increase the use of clean energy.
The Clean Energy Regulator is part of the Environment Portfolio and administers the Emissions Reduction Fund, the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting scheme, the Carbon Farming Initiative and the Renewable Energy Target.
