The Clean Energy Regulator is the Government body responsible for administering legislation that will reduce carbon emissions and increase the use of clean energy.
The Clean Energy Regulator administer the Emission Reduction Fund, the Renewable Energy Target, the Carbon Farming Initiative, the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Scheme and the Australian National Registry of Emissions Units.
