The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) is Australia’s independent national regulator of the higher education sector. It is responsible for the registration of higher education providers; the accreditation of higher education courses for providers without self-accrediting authority; maintenance of the National Register of Higher Education Providers; conducting compliance and quality assessments of providers and promoting the sector’s adherence to the National Higher Education Standards Framework.
